Kurztrip in den Herbstferien in die Normandie und nach Paris. Zuerst ging es in die Altstadt von Rouen bevor im Anschluss die Ferienwohnung an der Küste in der Normandie bezogen wurde. Von hier aus fanden Tagestouren entlang der Küste oder zum Soldatenfriedhof La Cambe statt. Zum Abschluss führte die Tour für 3 Tage in die französische Metropole Paris. Wir bezogen eine kleine Wohnung in einem Arrondissement im Zentrum von Paris. Am Morgen, beim Kauf eines Baguette, dachte ich noch: Wie friedlich das Miteinander unterschiedlicher Kulturen auf engstem Raum doch funktioniert. Nur einen Monat später fanden nur 400 m Luftlinie entfernt die blutigen Anschläge im Bataclan statt.

Short trip to Normandy and Paris in the autumn holidays. First we went to the old town of Rouen before moving into the apartment on the coast in Normandy. From here there were day tours along the coast or to the La Cambe military cemetery. Finally, the tour led to the French metropolis of Paris for 3 days. We moved into a small apartment in an arrondissement in the center of Paris. In the morning, when I bought a baguette, I still thought: how peacefully the cooperation of different cultures works in a confined space. Only a month later, the bloody attacks in the Bataclan took place only 400 m linear distance.
