Erste große Radtour. Während die Mädchen im Zeltlager der Messdiener verbrachten, wollten wir einmal mit dem Rad zur Nordsee und zurück. Wir wählten die Strecke entlang der Ems bis Emden. Von dort ging es an der Nordseeküste entlang – mit einem kurzen Abstecher auf die Insel Norderney – bis kurz hinter Wilhelmshaven. Der Rückweg erfolgte flussaufwärts der Weser  bis Bad Karlshafen und von dort der Diemel entlang nach Marsberg.

First big bike ride. While the girls spent their time in the camp of the Messdiener, we once wanted to go by bike to the North Sea and back. We chose the route along the Ems river to Emden. From there it went along the North Sea coast – with a short detour to the island Norderney – until shortly after Wilhelmshaven. The way back up the river Weser to Bad Karlshafen and from there along the Diemel river to Marsberg.
