Familienurlaub in der Slowakei. Gestartet wurde mit einem 3-Tagestrip nach Budapest, dem eigentlichen Ziel der Quer-durchs-Land Radtour. Von der zentral gelegenen Unterkunft wurden die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten von Ungarns Hauptstadt erkundet: Stephans Basilika, Burgberg mit  Königspalast, Fischerbastei, Parlamentsgebäude, Kettenbrücke und vieles mehr. Im Anschluss ging es für einen Woche zum Campen an den Stausee Liptovska Mara in der Slowakei. Neben dem Nahe gelegenen Aquapark Tatralandia wurden Ausflüge in die Schlucht „Sucha Bela“,  zur Zipser Burg, in die Eishöhle Demanova und eine Wanderung vom Chopok nach Jasna unternommen.

Family vacation in Slovakia. It started with a 3-day trip to Budapest, the actual destination of the cross-country cycling tour. The centrally located property explores the main attractions of Hungary’s capital: St. Stephen’s Basilica, Castle Hill with Royal Palace, Fisherman’s Bastion, Parliament House, Chain Bridge and much more. Afterwards we went camping for a week at the reservoir Liptovska Mara in Slovakia. In addition to the nearby Tatralandia Aquapark, trips were made to the Sucha Bela canyon, the Spiš Castle, the Demanova Ice Cave and a hike from Chopok to Jasna.
