Mit Zwischenübernachtung in Chalon-sur-Saone ging es in das 1250 km entfernt liegende Bouzies. Ein kleines Dorf  in Südfrankreich und Ausgangspunkt für eine 1-wöchige Hausboot-Tour auf dem Fluss Lot. Ungefähr 150 km auf dem Fluss und 34 Schleusen lagen vor uns. Eine völlig neue Erfahrung. Neben Cahors, der größten Stadt auf der Tour, gab es mit Laroque-des-Arc und St. Cirq-Lapopie weitere Höhepunkte. Erwähnenswert sind auch die bezaubernde Landschaft und die lokalen Spezialitäten.

With an overnight stay in Chalon-sur-Saone, we travelled to Bouzies – 1250 km away from our hometown. Bouzies a small village in southern France and starting point for a 1-week houseboat tour on the River Lot. About 150 km on the river and 34 locks were in front of us. A completely new experience. In addition to Cahors, the largest city on the tour, there were with Laroque-des-Arc and St. Cirq-Lapopie other highlights. Worth mentioning are also the enchanting landscape and the local specialties.
